Join Little Paul as he discovers what it takes to become a firefighter! Through a fun bilingual story, children follow Paul as he gets ready for the job — finding the right clothes, learning about firefighter equipment and finally looking the part. The story is included in both English and French, making it easy to listen, follow along and build confidence in the new language. 
 
This module introduces useful clothing, body and firefighter vocabulary, including words such as la veste, le pantalon, la chaussure, la chaussette, le casque, le camion de pompier and le tuyau d’incendie. Colourful illustrated vocabulary pages help children connect each new French word with its meaning. 
 
Children then practise what they have learned through a mixture of worksheets, games and challenges, with activities divided into Let’s Go!, Challenging and Tricky! levels. These include designing Little Paul’s T-shirt, creating his shop window, choosing an outfit, matching clothing vocabulary, dressing characters, spotting the difference, completing a word search and building French sentences.
