It’s Christmas Eve, and Little Paul is getting ready for the big day. Through his festive story, children follow Little Paul as Christmas approaches, meeting familiar Christmas characters and discovering seasonal traditions along the way. With colourful illustrations and plenty of repetition, the story provides a fun and memorable setting for introducing French at Christmas.
 
The module introduces children to a wide range of Christmas vocabulary, with words and phrases connected to Father Christmas, presents, decorations, Christmas trees, reindeer, snow and other familiar parts of the festive season. Children meet the vocabulary first through the story before reinforcing it through dedicated vocabulary pages, games and worksheets.
 
The learning goes beyond individual words. Throughout the workbook, children are encouraged to listen, repeat, recognise, read and use French, helping them become increasingly comfortable with the language.
