A little girl shows us around her unusual home. With a slightly spooky Halloween theme, children find the illustrations amusing - would you prefer a shower (with an octopus) or a bath (with a shark?!)  The central heating is provided by the dragon in the cellar.  The big question is - would you like to move into the equally spooky house next door, which is for sale?!  We found that children in the classes generally say ‘Yes’!  Subject = home, rooms, furniture.  The book has a double page vocabulary section in the center.

The book is written in English and French.  Read the story in your native language to get to know it.  Then flip the book over and it's the same story in your target language;  it's like having 2 books in one, back to back!   Illustrated in pen, ink and watercolour, by Pete Williamson.   Bilingual French-English book for children ages 3-11.
