Little Beast is playing with his friend the star when he over balances and ends up falling into the ocean.  He falls down and down through the water and sees lots of different sea creatures.  He eventually lands on the sea bed with an old shipwreck and helpful angler fish.  He really wants to get back to his friend the star and so a turtle and whale help him back to the beach.  Subject = sea creatures, helping each other.  The center pages have all the vocabulary from the book.
 
The book is written in English and French.  Read the story in your native language to get to know it.  Then flip the book over and it's the same story in your target language;  it's like having 2 books in one, back to back!   Illustrated in pastels by Krystyna Rogerson.   Bilingual French-English book for children ages 3-11.
