Petit Paul is a little boy who likes to imagine that he is someone, or somewhere, else.  In this book he wants to go to school and starts off looking in through the window of the school, but to go to a real school there are lots of things he needs.  Using his imagination he slowly builds up a collection of everything he needs to go to school and then, when he has everything, he goes in!  Paul starts off with just his own clothes and ends up in uniform with a school bag, full of the necessary equipment, and lots of new classmates.  Subject = school.  This book has key vocabulary in the center pages.
